Why when repels attack Israeli troops, Israel respond by attacking innocent civilians?

Isn鈥檛 this a war crime against international laws? Why western countries and media show no reactions for this kind of mass terrorism but when a suicide bomber perform a single attack all the world raise up? Isn鈥檛 this hypocrisy? All kind of terrorism should be prevented, including destruction of infrastucture in Lebanon and Palestine,isn't this right?

They really messed up by attacking Lebanon...anyone with a brain can see that other Arab countries will rally to Lebanon's side.

Remember...Israel has been committing genocide for the past few decades...the UN and US turn a blind eye.

Bush says Israel has the right to self defence...i don't call bombing another country and killing civilians self defence.

They are using the kidnapped soldiers as an excuse to start a regional conflict.

Why do muslim countries kill innocent Israelis? Isn't that a war crime?

And also, good for Israel. Maybe they should do what America does when one of our citizens is kidnapped and murdered, which of course is nothing. They care about their people. I'd attack another country if it was killing and torturing my people.

israel is not attacking civilians. They only attack either those responsible or military strtegic points. on the other hand those who they are fighting go out of their way to cuase as much death as possible to as many innocents as they can.
The Israeli Defense force is just trying to secure the northern border and retrieve the men kidnapped as soon as they complete that task they will leave Lebanon alone, they do not kill people for fun like arabs do

I dont remember Hezbollah sending warnings before it launched rockets in to Israeli city's, but I do remember Israel dropping leaflets on southern Lebanon today before it started bombing.

Why is it that Israeli's can't get a cup of coffee with being blown up? Why can't Israeli's ride a bus without being blown up? I could go on and on with these types of questions.

I am beginning to think that there are Palestinians on these boards that are trying to drum up support and sympathy for the Palestinian side.

I'm not sure but isnt Israel an ally..?? which may explain the onesided-ness of the reporting you mentioned. Over all those two cultures have been duking it out for so long, who can keep track or even interest. It all comes down to the basis of the their in pass,... who's religion is better,....that's where the ignorance begins.
Israel is not attacking cilivilians.It attacks strategic points and bases.But in such attacks,civilians get caught in the middle..but that is called,Collateral Damage and its ever there in every war
I agree with you. Israel is attacking innocent civilians in response to one person being kidnapped by a terrorist group.

First off, let me address previous responses that say that all muslims are terrorists, and all terrorists are muslims. Neither is true, nor should the affiliation be set.

Terrorism is attacking innocent civilians, whether it is by suicide bombings or by mass bombings. Israel responded to a very minor act of terrorism, albeit a kidnapping by a major act of terrorism on their own part. Now, the public falls folly to the jargon that they use, whether it be "terrorism" or "freedom fighting" which is the same thing given its bias.

The United States is just sitting on the sidelines, when they should be interfering. And in cases where they shouldn't have interfered, they have (Iraq? Afghanistan? Their problems are internalized, whereas these problems are inter-nations.) It is totally hypocritical that we just allow this to happen.

I think that all terrorism should be prevented, and the more we target one group of terrorists, the more we ignore the others, and allow them to get away with equal acts of terrorism. A terrorist can be anyone, and our media and government tends to ignore that.
Maybe those innocent civilians shouldn't have voted in their present government. If Israel were to just sit by and say, oh well, they got one of our soldiers, then what do you think would happen the next day, and the next day, and then on? Israel has no choice but to strike back whenever she is attacked, and in much greater force than was done to her. And the Israeli troops are always on stand-by to do just that. Because they expect that to happen to them almost on a daily basis--unfortunately for them.

Have you noticed though, that the death rate ratio is really off balance--like recently it has been about 40:1 Israeli troops the winners so far? And all this because some bad-guys tunneled under the protective fence at the limits of Gaza, and captured some unexpecting army person.

No who is really at fault for the 40-some killed "bad guys" for this one soldier that may not even be dead as of yet? Oh well, we'll figure this out eventually, after the "war."
Sadly many answers just show how ignorant are some people about Israeli and American hostilities against innocent Muslims and how biased they are. The best solution in my opinion is that the US and its loving citizens evacuate Texas (Bush state) and give to Israelis were they can live in peace. Palestine is not lawful for Israelis because it was stolen from its original people the Palestinians. Please loving Americans give Texas to the Jews so they live in peace under your kind care, and help in treating the chronic disease the Israel cancer. Thanks.
