Is there any real proof that there is a God?

Everyone says look around you and you will see the work of God. However, how many people can actually show proof that God exist? Can someone pray and ask God to perform a miracle now and it will happen. Prove to me that God exist?

Once upon a time, most humans were pagans. They were absolutely certain of their beliefs... until they changed.

Later, millions of people worshiped the sun. They were absolutely certain of their beliefs... until they changed.

Later still, humans became polytheists. They were absolutely certain of their beliefs... until they changed.

Modern humans are now mostly monotheists, but are split into a few opposing camps, each of which is absolutely certain of their beliefs.

When large numbers of people believe the same thing, it doesn't make them right. It just confirms the fact that people tend to go along with whatever the majority believes, until the majority changes its mind.

What's more, nobody can prove those things they claim god did, are actually god's deeds.
Mathematically speaking, the odds are almost nill that the universe and its inhabitants can exist without the intervention of a higher power, ie "God". However, there is almost no good evidence, let alone proof, that he has anything to do with the image of him represented in the bible. Christianity is crap.

can a computer creates itself? someone has figure out a way to create the computer in this specific figure and function. now look at ur hand, u could born with a flat hand that is useless, but instead God divided ur hand into 5 fingers, every finger has a job to do. some one has figure out a way to create you. worship Him alone.

there is no actual proof that god exists. that is what faith is for. the people who tell u to look around and see god's work, they have absolute faith that he did create it and can't understand the idea that someone else doesn't have that same faith. u either have the faith that he is there or u don't.
You can read the Holy Bible for more about who he is and his Glory and Power, but I do not know why you are asking for Proof, he is living inside of you, you do not have to see your heart to know that it is beating, you just know that it is there. He does not have to show himself to you for you to believe, JESUS already came and people saw him and still did not believe so does it really matter, he left us with his word and the power of the HOLY GHOST!!!

Look at a leaf. All the complicated lines and structures in it. Who put that together. It could have been something that wouldn't even function.

How about yourself. What are the chances that any human being could just occur by chance?

Scientists, some, say the chances are higher that a car could just create itself in you're garage, if you didn't even provide the parts. And that is, if cars did not even exist yet. I don't mean someone driving it in there.

That is all I need.
No one can prove it. People will rehash the same tired arguments. The ultimate question is that of original cause. Even if you accept the scientific origin of the universe, there is still no answer to why the Big Bang occured.

Perhaps it is a natural occurence outside of our perception or perhaps there is an "Unmoved Mover" or a loving God who crafts and controls the universe carefully.

nope. it's in the definition of "God" that things begin to get interesting. i believe in "God" but not in a deity whereas someone else will believe their deity is God. i have no more proof of the validity of my God concept as the deity believer. neither one of us know dick all about "God". it's all imagination.
No that will not happen, only if you were in a totally ignorant society. You can only get an explanation like the following:

If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...

If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...

So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:

If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:

If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

V.21:16) All the creation of the heavens and the earth is a proof for mankind to learn a lesson and know that the only Creator and the only Organizer of all this universe is One (Allah), La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Who has no partners with Him).

035:040] Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "Tell me (or inform me) (what) you think about your (so-called) partner-gods to whom you call upon besides Allah? Show me, what they have created of the earth. Or have they any share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book, so that they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the Zalim?n (polytheists and wrong doers) promise one another nothing but delusions."

[010:067] He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily, in this are Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) for a people who listen (i.e. those who think deeply).

[010:068] They (Jews, Christians and pagans) say: "Allah has begotten a son (children)." Glory is to Him! He is Rich (Free of all needs). His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. No warrant you have for this. Do you say against Allah what you know not.

[010:069] Say: "Verily, those who invent a lie against Allah, will never be successful" 鈥?

[010:070] (A brief) enjoyment in this world! and then to Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in Allah, deny His Messengers, deny and challenge His Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)].
yes, the creation is a proof,look at the seas,riveres, mountains, trees and every thing around you, who made them? who made us????? nobody? if course the god made us and made them ,, sis, use your mind and you will find the right road..

There is no proof at all.

Christians will claim that the bible is proof, but is Lord of the Rings proof of Hobbits, Shaun Hutsons Slugs proof of killer slugs that willl crawl up your backside while having sex, Steven Kings Cell proof of killer mobile phones?

Of course not.

HOWEVER

There is plenty of SCIENTIFIC proof that the events claimed as truth in the bible never happened.
1) Do you have a spirit?

2) Is logic and evidence all that you need, and all that you require to live?

If the answer to 1) is "no", and the answer to 2) is "yes", then you don't need to seek out God.

If you want proof, the proof is in your personal conviction.

If you believe that the world is a very fallen place.

If you believe that God has given the world to man, who by nature is fallen and responsible for the ills that affect himself.

And you need someone bigger than man to influence him.

Then maybe you will acknowledge God.

I cannot prove to you that God exists. But i cannot prove to you that God doesn't exist either.. I am stuck here.. My uncle is christian, my father once asked him what he would do if he devoted his whole life to God, but in the end God doesn't exist? My uncles answered..."God may not exist, but at least i know i'm living what i believe in, and i am a better person for it." I am kind of on the otherside. I have no proof that God exists, but i have no proof that he doesn't. I don't really know what to believe. But if there is no proof that he doesn't exist, i say go with what you believe and think is right.
